Finally! Yes, finally it's here! No, not the long-awaited debut of World Soccer Blogger (earth-shattering though it is) - the World Cup! La Copa Mundial! After four long, hard years spent inhaling every glimpse of club soccer and the European Championships and la Copa America and the, er, Confederations Cup, the World Cup is back. And not a moment too soon. For the next month, we'll be covering all the action in Germany, from the U.S. squad's involvement in the Group of Near-Death to Brazil's struggles with Ronaldobesity (I mean, at least Maradona waited until after he retired...).
